history

The course opened on September 1, 1990. The Legacy is hacker friendly with gentle rough and minimal sand. There are seven lakes and ponds. The course is modest in length - four par 4's under 350 yards from the white tees. The greens have an excellent putting and are arguably the best in the area. Low handicappers will find tougher tests, but The Legacy is no cakewalk from the back tees. That's especially true on days when the wind kicks up, and that seems to be most of the time.

Featured Hole
Number # 7 At Legacy

The seventh hole at The Legacy Golf course is a risk/reward par 4. Long hitters can take advantage of the dogleg left and leave only a wedge into the green. Others will be best suited to play it safe and hit a mid-iron into this relatively flat green. Par on this hole is usually a good score.
