Welcome to the Granite City Park District's
"The Legacy" Golf Course website.
Many additions and improvements are currently taking shape at Legacy.
The cart shed should begin to be extended to include an area for golf course equipment and winter repairs any day now. The cart paths are scheduled to be worked on and completed during the month of November.
ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS:
Brian will be sharing with businesses in the area a unique marketing opportunity to partner with the Granite City Park District and Legacy Golf Course.
If you would be interested in having your advertising dollars work with the clientele who support Legacy, contact Brian to set up an appointment to discuss this program. Space is limited, and most people who play Legacy have the disposal dollars and income that could benefit your business as well.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:
Legacy Golf Course is now a FIRST TEE JUNIOR GOLF
AFFILIATE!
Juniors golfers can begin signing up for one, two, three or even
four junior programs at Legacy Golf Course. In addition to the First Tee Summer
Program, we are now recognized as a Gateway PGA Junior Certified Facility.
Brian Stitch, our Class "A" PGA Professional, is certified
with the Gateway PGA
as a teaching specialist, and provides a wide range of junior programs. Included are junior golf camps that begin in April, a summer junior golf league,
and a summer junior driving range pass.

additional information and to sign up for these amazing programs. Class size
for all programs are limited to ensure maximum effectiveness. More information
will be available on this website soon.
EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:
Legacy Golf Course has been selected to host a major
Gateway PGA Junior Golf Tournament this June. This tournament is the first of a four part GATEWAY PGA SUMMER "CLASSIC" TOURNAMENT SERIES.
Tournament will be
held on Monday and Tuesday, June 13th and 14th. Spectators will be allowed.

Number # 7 At Legacy
The seventh hole at The Legacy Golf course is a risk/reward par 4. Long hitters can take advantage of the dogleg left and leave only a wedge into the green. Others will be best suited to play it safe and hit a mid-iron into this relatively flat green. Par on this hole is usually a good score. |
